Answers to common questions
Fees, payments, withdrawals and selling your work, in plain words.
Is it really free?
Yes. Making a page costs nothing. We take a small share of each gift or sale, so we only earn when you do.
Do my fans need an app or an account?
No. They open your link, pick an amount and send it with Orange Money or AfriMoney. No sign-up, no app.
How do I get my money?
Open your wallet and tap Withdraw. The money goes to your own mobile money number. The first time, we check your ID to keep your money safe.
What can I sell?
Things people can download: e-books, songs, beats, art, photos, templates and lessons. It has to be your own work.
Is it safe for my fans?
Payments are handled by Monime, a Sierra Leone payment company. Your fan approves every payment on their own phone, so nothing is taken without them saying yes.
Who can make a page?
Anyone in Sierra Leone who makes things: music, art, videos, writing, comedy or lessons. To withdraw, you need a mobile money number in your own name.
Can fans send more than one gift?
Yes, as many as they like. Each gift is a one-off. There are no monthly plans.
Can fans stay anonymous?
Yes. They can tick "Hide my name" and their name won't show on your page.
What is a shout-out?
When fans send a gift, they can add their TikTok or Instagram username. We make a thank-you post with their names that you can share. Fans who don't want this can just leave it empty.
How do buyers get the file they paid for?
Right after they pay, they get a download page and an email with a link. If they lose it, they can get it again from "Find my downloads".
How long does a withdrawal take?
Most withdrawals arrive in a few minutes. Sometimes the mobile money network is slow and it takes longer. You can see the status in your wallet.
What if something goes wrong with a payment?
If a payment fails, no money is taken. If you see something strange, use "Report a problem" at the bottom of any page and our team will look at it.
Still not sure?
Make a page and look around. It's free, and nobody can see it until you publish it.
